The Academy for Teachers, in partnership with The Public Theater, is thrilled to offer tickets to the August 20 performance of The Winter’s Tale.

Tony Award-winning director Daniel Sullivan returns to Free Shakespeare in the Park with a spellbinding new production. When the King of Sicilia becomes convinced his pregnant wife has been unfaithful, their royal baby is smuggled to the coast of Bohemia, where she is raised by an old shepherd. Sixteen years later, a mysterious romance unfolds in this tale of defiance, destiny, and the power of true love.

Because these tickets are highly coveted and strictly limited, we want to ensure every single seat goes to a dedicated teacher.

- Please make absolutely sure you are free on August 20 before entering the lottery.

- To help us prevent last-minute drop-offs and secure your spot, lottery winners will pay a $15 commitment fee, which includes a snack box for the show.

- This special event is available exclusively to Academy Fellows* and school-membership participants.

- The lottery opens August 5. Winners will be notified by Monday, August 10.
